On March 31st, Cris Boyer starred in the world premiere of ‘Crashing’, at Denver’s Dangerous Theater. Originating the role of ‘Larry’, he seeks to rediscover his relationship with his wife after exploring the idea of a fling with an old crush; meanwhile his best friend chases the idea of building a relationship with his mistress as his marriage falls apart.
The play, written by Allan Farbman, is the first winner of the theatre’s ‘Playoffs’ competition, in which playwrights compete and are voted upon to determine whose work deserves to be staged. It is produced by Playoffs coordinator George Lopercio, and co-stars Kris Best, Elise Collins and Lisa Best.

Running March 16 through March 31, the Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City, MI presents ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by William Shakespeare. Cristopher Boyer appears as Theseus.
The production is directed by Shelby Lewis and also stars Connor Sweeney, Meaghan Kenny and Gianna Imbronone.

Cristopher Boyer appears as ‘Mike’, a small-time con-artist who struggles to do the right thing in Traverse City, MI’s Old Town Playhouse production of Frederick Knott’s ‘Wait Until Dark’. The play is directed by Michelle Perez, who starred in a similar production 30 years ago.

Cristopher Boyer plays the lead role of ‘Don Browning’ in the Old Town Playhouse Studio Theatre’s production of Tim Clue’s ‘Leaving Iowa’, running May 30 through June 14 in Traverse City, MI. Faced with the prospect of finding a burial spot for his deceased father’s ashes, Don takes his dad on one final road trip, reminiscing on past family vacations along the way.
The production is directed by Scott Bufe, and co-stars Joe Kilpatrick, Linda Miller and Amber Carr.
This holiday season, Cristopher Boyer appears in Ken Ludwig’s ‘The Game’s Afoot, or, Holmes for the Holidays’ at the Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City, MI. As Simon Bright, he plays a dopey but well-meaning actor who, along with his fiancee, may have a little more meaning to his visit to a co-star’s snowbound mansion.
The play also stars Jan Dalton, Joe Kilpatrick, Susan McConnell, Meg Parker, Bernadette Groppuso, Teddy House and Jamie Lamont, and runs from January 17 to February 1.
